1 Seriously Injured in Bicycle Accident on Millerton Road near Millerton Lake in Friant
Friant, California (March 12, 2023) – Authorities said a bicyclist was injured in a Friant crash on Saturday morning.
The major injury accident happened at about 10:27 a.m., on March 11, on Millerton Road near Millerton Lake.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the bicyclist was traveling on the roadway when, for unknown reasons, it was struck by a Lincoln MKZ.
Following the collision, the Lincoln rested on the right shoulder near an electric pole.
The bicyclist was seriously injured and taken to the Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
