Sacramento, CA.- A bicyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle in Sacramento on Tuesday evening, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
The incident happened on Fruitridge Road and Ethel Way shortly after 7:45 p.m. March 18.
According to police, a male cyclist was traveling in the area when he collided with a car under unclear circumstances.
The bicyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
