Rider Hospitalized After Pasadena Bicycle Accident at California and Rosemead Boulevards

Pasadena, California (February 14, 2023) – A cyclist sustained major injuries in a traffic collision that happened Monday night near an intersection in Pasadena, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident was reported at around 9:21 p.m. near East California Boulevard and South Rosemead Boulevard.

The bicyclist collided with a gray Toyota Corolla under unclear circumstances.

The rider sustained severe injuries in the crash. Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital in an unknown condition.

The car was towed away from the scene with crash damage.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
