Rider Injured in Palm Desert Accident on Varner Road

Palm Desert, California (March 18, 2023) – A bicyclist was injured in a traffic collision at an intersection in Palm Desert on Thursday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident happened on Varner Road and Washington Street at about 6:12 p.m. March 16.

A bicyclist was struck by a car under unclear circumstances.

The bicyclist was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
