Benino Nava Among 2 Killed in Stockton Collision on Highway 26
Stockton, California (May 16, 2023) – Benino Nava, 71, of Valley Springs, was one of the two people who were killed in a traffic accident Wednesday morning in Stockton, according to a report by the San Joaquin County Coroner’s Office.
The deadly accident happened on Highway 26 at Alpine Road shortly before 11 a.m. on May 10.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver Infiniti was traveling eastbound on Highway 26 when it hit gravel on the side of the road and the driver lost control.
The Infiniti swerved into the path of oncoming vehicles and was hit on the passenger side by a white F-250 traveling west.
Benino and his wife Donna Nava, 68, of Valley Springs, were the occupants of one of the vehicles and both died following the incident.
The wreck is under investigation.
