LAPD Officer Baldemar Sandoval Killed in Car Accident on 210 Freeway near Grand Avenue

Glendora, California (April 16, 2023) – Baldemar Sandoval has been identified as the LAPD off-duty officer who was killed in a crash in Glendora on Saturday.
The accident happened around 2:30 a.m. on eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway near Grand Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officer Sandoval was on his way home when he was rear-ended by a big rig in unclear circumstances.
Sandoval was killed in the accident.
The officer was the lone occupant inside his vehicle.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
