Wildomar, CA.- A motorcycle rider was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Wildomar on Thursday evening, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
The wreck took place on Bundy Canyon Road and Harvest Way just after 6 p.m. August 14.
Authorities reported that a motorcycle rider was traveling through the intersection when he was involved in a collision with a vehicle.
The impact pushed the motorcyclist into a ravine.
The driver of the other vehicle fled the scene after the accident.
The rider, identified as Augustine Garcia, 63, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Authorities are searching for the hit-and-run motorist.
