At Least 1 Killed in Barstow Car Accident on Interstate 15 near Outlet Drive

Barstow, California (April 27, 2023) – Authorities responded to a collision involving a semi-truck and a car early Thursday morning on 15 Freeway in Barstow.

According to a police report, the deadly accident happened around 3:38 a.m. on Interstate 15 South near Southbound Outlet Center Drive off-ramp.

As per the report, a semi-truck and a vehicle were involved in the crash. The circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately established.

As a result, the car was stuck under a semi-truck before fully engulfed in fire.

At least one person was killed in the accident.

The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.

All freeway lanes were closed but reopened at around 4:32 a.m.
