Long Beach, California (May 13, 2025) – At least one person was killed Monday night in a two-vehicle accident in Long Beach, according to the CHP.
The fatal accident was reported just before 10:30 p.m., May 12, on the 91 Freeway near Cherry Avenue.
CHP said two cars collided on the eastbound side of the freeway. One person was reportedly ejected from their vehicle and landed on the opposite side of the freeway.
At least one person died in the accident.
The accident closed multiple eastbound and westbound lanes.
An investigation is underway.
