Woman Critically Injured in Sawtelle Pedestrian Crash on S. Sawtelle Boulevard 

Sawtelle, California (February 20, 2023) – A woman was critically hurt when a vehicle slammed into pedestrians in frontof a restaurant in Sawtelle Sunday afternoon, according to the authorities.

The wreck happened in the 2030 block of South Sawtelle Boulevard on February 19.

Authorities said a car collided with a parked vehicle and a dumpster, before careening into the pedestrians.

A 23-year-old woman was rushed to a hospitalw with critical injuries while a 74-year-old man was hospitalized with moderate injuries.

Two other parties were taken to hospital in fair condition.

It’s unclear whether the hospitalized parties were among the occupants of the vehicles.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
