The officers spotted the driver in a blue sedan heading the wrong way on Lakeview Boulevard and attempted to stop them
Lake Oswego, OR.- Several people were hurt in an accident with a suspected DUI driver in Lake Oswego on Sunday night, according to the Lake Oswego Police Department.
At about 7:40 p.m. August 17, police responded to reports of an intoxicated motorist who had just left the Lake Grove Swim Park on Lakeview Boulevard.
The officers spotted the driver in a blue sedan heading the wrong way on Lakeview Boulevard and attempted to stop them.
The suspect failed to stop and fled the area at a high rate of speed.
Shortly after, the sedan got into an accident with another vehicle at the intersection of Pilkington Road.
The driver of the sedan, identified as a 26-year-old Silverton woman, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The two occupants of the second vehicle were hospitalized with critical injuries.
Police reported that charges are expected against the sedan driver.
The incident is under investigation.
