4 Hospitalized After DUI Crash on Highway 128 near Tubbs Lane in Calistoga
Calistoga, California (March 13, 2023) – Four people were hospitalized, one with severe injuries, after two vehicles collided Sunday afternoon in Calistoga, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck was reported at around 5:08 p.m. on southbound Highway 128, just south of Tubbs Lane.
A white SUV and a gray SUV were involved in the accident, sustaining major crash damage.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported one person to the hospital with multiple broken ribs and internal injuries.
Three other people were hopsitalized in unknown conditions.
Authorities said one of the drivers had been drinking prior to the accident, but did not give more details.
Southbound Highway 128 at Tubbs Lane remained closed while emergency personnel worked the scene.
CHP officers are investigating the collision.
