Gilbert, AZ.- At least one person died in a multi-vehicle accident that happened in Gilbert late Sunday night.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred at about 11:10 p.m. August 17, on Loop 202 San Tan.
According to the report, at least two vehicles were involved in the crash but the circumstances under which they crashed were not immediately established.
At least one of the vehicles rolled over following the incident.
Authorities reported that the accident was fatal.
San Tan 202 was shut down between Gilbert Road and Lindsey Road for hours.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the DPS.
