At Least 1 Dies in Car Versus Tractor Collision on 401 Stone Avenue in Modesto

Modesto, California (February 20, 2023) – At least one person died in a traffic collision involving a tractor that took place Sunday evening in Modesto.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident was reported at around 7:49 p.m. near 401 Stone Avenue.

Firefighters and AMR responded to the scene and found a car and a tractor involved in the wreck.

The firefighters pronounced at least one person dead at the scene.

No other details were given, but the crash is under investigation.
