At Least 1 Hurt in Kern County Crash on Highway 58 and California City Boulevard

Kern County, California (February 7, 2023) – At least one person was injured following a two-vehicle accident on Tuesday afternoon in Kern County, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

The accident happened around 2:15 p.m. on February 6 on westbound Highway 58 and California City Boulevard.

Per the report, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.

Fire officials and medical personnel rushed to the scene to aid at least one individual injured in the accident. The injured patient’s name and current condition were not immediately released.

The vehicles were blocking the lanes following the accident. The roadway was reopened as of 3:37 p.m.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident scene.
