At Least 1 Suffers Minor Injuries in Thermal Car Accident on Highway 111 at 62nd Avenue

Thermal, California (April 11, 2023) – At least one person sustained minor injuries in a traffic collision that happened Sunday afternoon at an intersection in Thermal.

The collision took place at around 6:42 p.m. at Highway 111 and 62nd Avenue.

A GMC Sierra collided with another vehicle, and one of them overturned onto its side.

The GMC truck had a child inside and caught fire after the collision.

First responders found the truck engulfed in flames.

At least one person sustained minor injuries in the accident, as per the report.

Both the northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 111 were briefly blocked following the accident.

Police officers are investigating the cause of the accident.
