1 Injured in San Jose Accident on Highway 101 near 680 Freeway

San Jose, California (February 24, 2023) – According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, at least one person suffered minor injuries after a two-vehicle accident on Thursday night in San Jose.

The crash happened at around 10:55 p.m. on February 23 on northbound Highway 101, just south of the 680 Freeway.

Per the report, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.

Responding emergency crews and medics attended to one individual injured in the accident. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.

The vehicles sustained significant front-end damage and were towed away from the accident. 

No additional information concerning this collision was provided.

An investigation is underway.
