Arturo Marquez Killed in Union City Accident on Dyer Street and San Marco Court

Union City, California (April 27, 2023) – Arturo Marquez, 76, of Hayward, died a month after being involved in an auto-pedestrian accident in Union City, according to the Union City Police Department.

The wreck took place at around 9:35 p.m. March 23, in the area of Dyer Street and San Marco Court.

Marquez was hit by a vehicle in the area under unclear circumstances.

He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased on April 19.

The involved driver reportedly cooperated with the investigators.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
