Ariana Sandoval Hurt in South County Crash on Highway 49

South County, California (March 15, 2023) – Ariana Sandoval, 21, of Cool, was injured in a multi-vehicle collision in the South County on Tuesday morning, according to the authorities.

The wreck happened on Highway 49 near Streeter Road on Tuesday, March 14.

Sandoval was driving northbound on Highway 49 when she tried to change lanes and her car collided with two other vehicles on the southbound side.

Authorities said Sandoval sustained moderate injuries.

The other drivers, Grace Vogel, 20, of Penn Valley, and Nelson Ramos, 40, of Cedar Ridge, had minor injuries.

Weather and roaad conditions were believed to be factors in the incident.

The accident is under investigation.
