A Pontiac Grand am and a Toyota Rav4 were involved in the crash, whose cause was not immediately established
Newhall, CA.- The man who was killed in a car accident in Newhall on Saturday afternoon has been identified as Antonio Gomez, 88, of Newhall, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office.
The wreck occurred on The Old Road near Weldon Canyon Road at around 12:15 p.m. on August 2.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Pontiac Grand am and a Toyota Rav4 were involved in the crash, whose cause was not immediately established.
Gomez, who was the driver of the Pontiac, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The other driver was transported to Henry Mayo Hospital with unspecified injuries.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
