Andres Quintanar Killed in Porter Ranch Crash on 118 Freeway

Porter Ranch, California (March 7, 2023) – Andres Quintanar, 37, was among two people killed in a wrong-way collision in Porter Ranch on Sunday morning, according to the coroner’s office.

The wreck happened at around 4:25 a.m. on the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway at the Tampa Avenue off-ramp.

Authorities said a dark-colored sedan was traveling east in the westbound lanes of the freeway when it collided with a semi-truck.

Quintanar and another party, identified as Gerardo Parra, 49, were both killed in the accident.

Two other parties were transported to hospitals for treatment.

An investigation into the wreck is ongoing.
