Allen Wilson Killed, Woman Seriously Injured in Traffic Collision near Williams Field and Lindsay Roads in Gilbert

Gilbert, Arizona (February 23, 2023) – Police identified 44-year-old Allen Joseph Wilson as the man who died in a traffic collision involving two pickup trucks Tuesday afternoon in Gilbert.

The accident occurred just before 4:30 p.m. near Williams Field and Lindsay roads.

According to Gilbert police, a 49-year-old woman was driving a Chevy Colorado when she attempted to make a left turn near the intersection and ended up colliding with a Dodge Ram pickup truck.

Wilson was a passenger in the Colorado and died at the crash scene.

The 49-year-old woman was hospitalized with serious injuries but is expected to survive.

The driver and passenger in the Ram were not injured.

Police are still investigating the accident.
