Phoenix, AZ.– A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Saturday night in south Phoenix.
According to a report by the Phoenix Police Department, the crash was reported at around 10:45 p.m. November 1, near 7th Avenue and Vineyard Road.
Alfredo Enrique Denogean, 49, was reportedly walking in the crosswalk against the traffic light when a car struck him.
When first responders arrived at the scene, they found Denogean unresponsive.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene shortly after.
The driver was evaluated and was not suspected of impairment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
