Agyeiah Adams Arrested after Riverside Accident on 215 Freeway
Riverside, California (November 24, 2022) – Agyeiah Adams, 22, of Riverside, was arrested after a fatal DUI accident that happened in Riverside early Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened at around 12:30 a.m. November 23, on 215 Freeway north of Blaine Street.
Adams was reportedly driving a Kia Optima southbound on the freeway when she collided with the left rear of a GMC pickup that had been traveling in front of her in the right lane and which moved to the right shoulder due to a mechanical problem.
The Kia overturned following the impact of the crash.
A 3-year-old girl sitting in the right rear seat of the Kia, identified as Zaylee Embery of Riverside, was killed in the accident.
Embery’s twin was also a passenger in the Kia and sustained minor injuries.
Adams, the mother of the twins, was also treated for minor injuries.
There were no other injuries in the collision.
Adams was arrested on charges of vehicular manslaughter, DUI, child endangerment, and driving without a license.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
