Long Beach, CA – A 78-year-old woman was killed Friday night in a pedestrian accident in Long Beach, according to the police.
The deadly accident took place around 9:00 p.m., June 27, on Orange Avenue at 71st Street.
Police said the Long Beach woman was crossing the street when she was struck by a northbound 2005 Dodge Ram. She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her name has not been released.
Officers said the driver was not speeding, impaired or distracted at the time of the accident.
The police are investigating the accident
