Morrow County, OR – A driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 84 in Morrow County late Thursday night.
The deadly crash happened at about 10:28 p.m. on July 3, 2025, on Interstate 84 near milepost 162 near Boardman.
The Oregon State Police said a gray Honda Odyssey, driven by 50-year-old Timothy W. Nelson, was traveling eastbound on Interstate 84 near milepost 162 when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle drove off the roadway and struck the end of a guardrail.
Nelson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The highway was shut down for about 30 minutes as crews investigated the incident.
The crash remains under investigation.
