San Diego, CA. – A 48-year-old man is nursing serious injuries sustained in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash that happened early Saturday morning in San Diego.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident took place around 1:10 a.m. in the 7600 block of Friars Road at Frazee Road in the city's Mission Valley East neighborhood.
Police said the pedestrian was in the westbound lanes when he was hit by a vehicle traveling westbound.
The driver failed to stop and sped away, leaving the man with serious injuries, including a fractured skull, facial fracture, and a fractured right tibia and fibula.
No description was given for the suspected driver and car.
An investigation is ongoing.
