According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 9:51 a.m. on westbound State Route 237 east of North First Street.
A black Mercedes and two other cars were involved in the crash.
One person suffered minor injuries in the crash. San Jose firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and helped the victim.
The Mercedes was towed away with moderate rear-end damage.
The Nos. 2 and 3 lanes were briefly closed following the collision.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
