Calabasas, CA. – 37-year-old Marvin Cortez of Los Angeles died when he collided with a vehicle while riding a bicycle on a street in Calabasas, the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner reported.
The accident took place around 9:25 a.m. Saturday on Stunt Road south of Mulholland Highway.
According to investigators, Cortez was riding a bicycle northbound in the southbound lane of Stunt Road in a blind curve when he collided with a 2021 Camaro driven by a 26-year-old Thousand Oaks man.
Cortez died while being transported to the hospital.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Calabasas, CA. – A bicycle rider was killed in a collision that took place in Calabasas on Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened on Stunt Road south of Mulholland Highway at around 9:25 a.m.
The CHP reported that a 37-year-old Los Angeles man was riding a bicycle northbound on southbound Stunt Road when he was hit by a Chevrolet Camaro driven by a 26-year-old Thousand Oaks man.
The bicyclist succumbed to his injuries while enroute to a hospital.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the collision.
