Fire crews arrived at the scene and found four, single-story homes on fire and fireworks detonating in the area.
Pacoima, CA.- A man is dead while a woman was hospitalized in critical condition following a fire incident related to fireworks in Pacoima on Thursday night, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The incident was reported just before 9 p.m. July 3, in the 12000 block of West Corcoran Street near Dronfiled Avenue.

After battling the fire, crews found the body of one man in one of the homes.
A woman was also critically hurt in the incident and was rushed to a hospital with severe burns.
A dog was also taken to a veterinary hospital with unspecified injuries.
Authorities are working to determine what led up to the incident.
