A 38-year-old man was driving southbound on Woodman Street in a 2004 Ford Explorer when he failed to stop at a red light and collided with a 2025 Tesla Model Y traveling west on Skyline Drive

San Diego, CA.- A man was injured in a collision involving a Tesla in San Diego's Skyline neighborhood late Thursday night, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The incident took place in the area of Woodman Street and Skyline Drive at around midnight.
A 38-year-old man was driving southbound on Woodman Street in a 2004 Ford Explorer when he failed to stop at a red light and collided with a 2025 Tesla Model Y traveling west on Skyline Drive.
The driver of the Tesla, a 28-year-old man, was taken to a hospital with multiple injuries including a dislocated elbow, a fractured ulna, and several abrasions.
Police reported that the driver of the Explorer was booked on DUI charges following the accident.
The incident is under investigation.
