Modesto, CA.- The pedestrian who died after being struck by a vehicle in Modesto earlier this month has been identified as Gail McKee, 55, of Modesto, according to the Modesto Police Department.
The crash happened on McHenry and Fairmount avenues at around 9:10 p.m. June 6.
According to the report, a 2014 Kia Optima was traveling northbound when it struck McKee in the area.
McKee was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased on June 6.
The Kia driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
