Angel Gamboa-Serrano was transported to the hospital, where he later died
Phoenix, AZ. – 21-year-old Angel Gamboa-Serrano died after being struck by a car in south Phoenix on Thursday morning.
According to the police, the accident happened around 5 a.m. near 16th Street and Wier Avenue.
Gamboa-Serrano was struck by a car on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
The man was transported to the hospital, where he later died.
The driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
