Two vehicles collided around 7:27 a.m., trapping one person inside the wreckage.

Los Angeles, CA. – Three people were injured in a traffic collision that happened Monday morning in downtown Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to Mateo Street near Violet Street after receiving reports of the crash.
Two vehicles collided around 7:27 a.m., trapping one person inside the wreckage.
Mateo Street was closed in both directions between 7th Place and Bay Street to allow the trapped victim to be extricated.
That patient and two others were taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
Authorities did not mention the cause and manner of the crash, but an investigation is ongoing.
