Gardena, CA – Two people were hospitalized with major injuries following a three-vehicle collision on Highway 91 in Gardena early Sunday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at about 3:39 a.m. on westbound Highway 91 (Artesia Boulevard) just east of S Vermont Avenue.
Authorities said three vehicles collided on Highway 91 and left the freeway, coming to rest on Vermont Avenue.
Two people suffered major injuries in the accident. The patients were transported to Harbor UCL for treatment.
No additional information is available at this time.
The crash is under investigation.
