David Smith and Vickie Carr killed in motorcycle accident on Highway 16 near Tremont Street in Port Orchard
Port Orchard, WA. – Two people were killed in a motorcycle accident in Port Orchard on Friday afternoon.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened around 5 p.m. on Highway 16 near the Tremont Street exit.
65-year-old David R. Smith and his passenger, 68-year-old Vickie L. Carr, were riding a motorcycle east on the highway when the rider lost control and crashed.
Smith and Carr, both residents of Salem, were killed in the accident.
Police say both riders were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
