Old Town Goleta, Calif. – A female pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle Sunday morning at an intersection in Old Town Goleta.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the wreck happened at around 9:45 a.m. on November 19 at Hollister and Nectarine avenues.
Per the report, a Toyota pickup struck the woman at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
The woman suffered severe injuries and was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital by AMR ambulance.
The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
More details about the mishap were not provided.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department is investigating the accident.
