Police said a woman in her 20s was riding a bicycle down a hill when she slammed into a stopped AC Transit bus
Berkeley, CA – A woman riding a bicycle was injured when she collided with an AC Transit Bus in Berkeley on Wednesday evening, according to the Berkeley Police Department.
The incident took place in the area of Spruce Street and Regal Road at about 5:30 p.m. May 8.
Police said a woman in her 20s was riding a bicycle down a hill when she slammed into a stopped AC Transit bus.
The woman was transported to Highland Hospital by the Berkeley Fire Department.
She reportedly sustained a major injury to her leg in the collision.
No other injuries were reported.
The incident is under investigation.
