Catalina Deharo-Rodriguez Killed in Tucson Pedestrian Accident on 12th Avenue at Valencia Road
Tucson, Arizona (November 1, 2023) – Catalina Deharo-Rodriguez was killed in a pedestrian crash Sunday afternoon in Tucson, according to a police report.
Per the report, the incident happened in the 6200 block of South 12th Avenue north of West Valencia Road on October 29.
Police said Deharo-Rodriguez crossed north of an unmarked crosswalk at the corner of West Santa Maria Street when she was struck by an Oldsmobile sedan driven by an 88-year-old man.
Deharo-Rodriguez was rushed to a hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead at the hospital Tuesday.
The elderly driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
More details about the wreck were not provided.
