Woman Killed in Head-On Accident on Highway 18 at Quinnault Road in Apple Valley
Apple Valley, CA – A female motorist was killed in a head-on traffic collision on Highway 18 in Apple Valley Monday night.
According to the Apple Valley Police Department, the wreck occurred at around 8:04 p.m. on State Route 18 at Quinnault Road.
Reports revealed a dark-colored Mitsubishi Outlander SUV was driving the wrong way when it collided head-on with a 2016 Honda Civic.
The smoke was seen coming out from both vehicles.
The woman, whose name was not disclosed, died at the scene.
The SUV driver was arrested and taken into custody.
