Portland, Oregon (October 30, 2023) – A 27-year-old woman was seriously injured in a on Sunday morning in Portland.

The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of SW Eckman and SW Apperson streets.

A female motorcyclist was reportedly speeding when police attempted to stop her. She did not yield and sped away and collided with a passenger car at Street.

Police say the woman suffered major injuries and was flown to Salem Hospital.

Three people were in the car and were unhurt.
