Woman Dies in Wilmington Pedestrian Crash

Wilmington, California (November 11, 2023) – A female pedestrian was struck and killed in a crash at G Street in Wilmington Friday evening.

The Los Angeles Police Department Operations Center said the wreck happened at around 7:45 p.m. at G Street and George De La Torre Jr. Avenue.

The vehicle was westbound on G Street when it struck the 41-year-old woman.

Paramedics took the woman to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The driver remained at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to the officer.

The crash remains under investigation.
