Adelanto, Calif. – A woman was killed in a crash involving a semi-truck at an intersection in Adelanto Wednesday morning.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the deadly auto-car crash at around 6:58 a.m. at Richardson and El Mirage Roads.
According to Staci Parks, the public information officer for Victor Valley Station, a semi-truck carrying a generator was making a right turn off El Mirage Road when a white Toyota Corolla slammed into its back.
The female driver of the Corolla was pronounced dead at the scene, despite life-saving measures.
The name of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
