Oceanside, CA.- A woman was taken to a hospital with critical injuries after being involved in a pedestrian crash in Oceanside on Monday evening, according to the Oceanside Police Department.
The crash took place on SR-76 near Canyon Drive, just before 7:15 p.m. December 30.
According to police, a woman was walking on the fog line of SR 76 when she was hit by a 2013 Freightliner traveling eastbound.
The woman suffered critical injuries and was transported to Scripps Hospital.
The operator of the big rig, a 30-year-old Lynwood man, stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The Oceanside Police Department is investigating the accident.
