Portland, OR.- A wheelchair rider was hit and injured by a vehicle in Northeast Portland early Thursday morning, according to the authorities.
The incident took place at about 2:30 a.m. April 24, on Northeast 82nd Avenue and Northeast Multnomah Street.
According to the report, a person riding on a wheelchair was hit by a vehicle in the area under unclear circumstances.
The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The crash is under investigation.
