18-Year-Old Wasco Man Killed in Wasco Crash at Wildwood Road and Sherwood Avenue
Wasco, California (September 13, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Friday morning traffic accident that killed an 18-year-old man from Wasco in Wasco.
The deadly accident transpired at about 7:10 a.m., on September 10, at the intersection of Wildwood Road and Sherwood Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2017 Mazda, driven by the Wasco man, was traveling at about 70 mph when it failed to slow down for slower traffic due to dusty conditions.
Unfortunately, the Mazda crashed into the back of a trailer.

Sadly, the Wasco man was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details regarding the collision were not immediately available.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
