Motorcyclist Suffers Major Injuries in Vista Crash on State Route 78 Near Emerald Drive

Vista, California (August 25, 2021) – A Vista crash involving a motorcycle Tuesday afternoon sent one unidentified person to the hospital.
The motorcycle crash took place on State Route 78, just west of Emerald Drive, at approximately 4:10 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol did not immediately establish how a white Mazda CX-5, a black 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle, and three other automobiles crashed on the freeway.
Major Injury Vista Crash
Paramedics responded to the scene and attended to the rider who had sustained unspecified injuries in the crash.
The unidentified motorcyclist was then taken to the Palomar Medical Center Escondido for medication.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
