Ari N. Quiroz-Jimenez and 2 Other People Killed in Mercer Island Crash on 90 Freeway near Island Crest Way
Mercer Island, Washington (November 1, 2023) – The identities of three people who died Sunday night following a wrong-way traffic collision on the 90 Freeway in Mercer Island have been released.
The wrong-way driver has been identified as Ari N. Quiroz-Jimenez, 30, of Seattle, Washington. The other two victims were identified as Austin C. Tsai, 22, of Bellevue and Bugeon Kim, 23, of Berkley, California.

Mercer Island, Washington (October 30, 2023) – Three people were killed in a wrong-way crash on Sunday night in Mercer Island, according to Washington State Patrol.
The Washington State Patrol says the accident happened on westbound 90 Freeway near Island Crest Way at around midnight.
A vehicle was traveling the wrong-way when it collided with another car.
The wrong-way driver and two occupants of the second car were killed in the accident.
The collision on I-90 WB on Mercer Island is a two car and sadly three fatalities. Causing vehicle was traveling the wrong way. The driver of the causing vehicle and both occupants of victim vehicle were the fatalities. Roadway will be clear shortly. Occurred around midnight.

The victims were not immediately identified.
