Los Angeles, California (August 8, 2021) – Three people were injured, two seriously, following a traffic collision in the Valley Village neighborhood in Los Angeles Sunday morning, authorities said.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the major-injury crash was reported at around 10:29 a.m. in the 12430 block of West Magnolia Boulevard.

Two vehicles collided for unknown reasons on West Magnolia Boulevard, authorities said.

The impact caused one of the vehicles to overturn.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated one person who was trapped in the overturned vehicle.

A total of three people were injured as a result of the crash. Two of them suffered major injuries, while the third victim had minor injuries.

Magnolia Boulevard between Whitsett Avenue and Laurel Canyon Boulevard was closed due to the collision.

No further details about the crash were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
