According to the La Palma Police, the collision happened at La Palma Avenue and Moody Street.
La Palma, CA – A woman killed after a police pursuit ended in a collision at an intersection in La Palma Wednesday afternoon has been identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as 67-year-old Marianne Casey of La Palma.
The crash occured at around 12:40 p.m. December 18 at La Palma Avenue and Moody Street.
The police was pursuing a theft suspect in Fullerton. The chase ended in a crash at the intersection after the suspect slammed into a BMW operated by Casey.
Casey was declared dead at the scene.
Two men and a woman were injured in the crash and were taken to an area hospital.
The suspect, identified as 43-year-old Anthony Hanzal of Anaheim, was among the injured and was taken to a hospital.
Hanzal was arrested and put behind bars Thursday in Orange County Jail.
The crash remains under investigation.

According to the La Palma Police, the collision happened at La Palma Avenue and Moody Street.
Reportedly, the incident started when the officer pursued 43-year-old Anthony Hanzal of Anaheim as a theft suspect just before 12:40 p.m. at North Gilbert Street and West Malvern Avenue.
The police attempted to pull Hanzal over, but he refused.
The police initiated a chase and the car was involved in a non-injury hit-and-run collision near Brookhurst Road and Orangethrope Avenue, but the pursuit continued onto Highway 91.
La Palma police joined the pursuit near La Palma Avenue and Walker Street, but the chase ended at La Palma Avenue and Moody Street, where the driver crashed into a BMW.
The BMW driver, a woman in her 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two men and a woman, including the suspect, were injured in the crash and taken to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the crash was reported.
The incident remains under investigation.
